centers is in Excellent (82%) condition
with a circular mark left by the hand on the dial as can be
seen from the scan.
Non QS date at 3 o'clock. Acrylic crystal.
Bezel Condition: 18k white gold fluted bezel is in
Excellent (83%) condition.
Bracelet/Strap: 100% original

Triple signed 33.5mm (excluding the winding crown)
SS screw back case.
Case Condition:
Excellent
(80%) condition with only very light hairlines.
Dial Condition:
100% Original Rolex black
"rocket" dial is in
Excellent (80%) condition that is
evenly aged. Check out the embossed ROLEX word. Dial has depth
marking "50m = 165ft" marked under the word Oyster Perpetual.
These are one of the earlier Perpetual Dates as Rolex put out
these so-called prototype dials before they actually settled on
the later Perpetual Dates without the depth markings.
Bezel Condition: SS smooth bezel is in
Excellent (80%) condition.
Bracelet/Strap: 100% Original Rolex Swiss made
riveted
bracelet (11 links) is in Very Good
(70%) condition.
Movement: Automatic calibre 1065 movement keeping time and working
fine.
Remarks: Very rare Prototype Perpetual Date! complete
with box and papers from a circa 1957 watch; past half a century
old! Extremely rare to get a watch like this with complete box
and papers. Another prized collector's item!
